Looking for anyone with a Heinecke born Hannover area of Germany with ancestors Friedrich Gottlieb Heinecke and Dorothea Friederica Helms from around Dannenberg. I am interested in finding children born between 1812 and 1820. I have the children after 1821 to 1829 George, Friedrich, Carl, Johanna and another George. There has to be some before 1820?
Could be in Germany and USA?

Children Matilda(Minnie) born 1887 married Howard Reynolds, son Howard jr born c.1913.
William Otto Heinecke may have married a Katharine L Jackson in 1917? and also married Carrie M Harr in 1923.
I need info on Minnie and her brother William Heinecke.

Trying to find any decendants of Ellwood Le Roy Heinecke born in Pennsylvania in about 1918. Father George Frederick Heinecke born 1896 in Philadelphia. Mother Jermie A Heinecke. Living in Philadelphia by 1920 census.
Sibling of Ellwood was another George Frederick Heinecke born about 1916.
Where did he go? did he marry? Did he change his name to Roy?

Hi Jenni,

Found IRS data from 1864,65 and 66 for George F Heinecke from his 6th street homein Phila. PA for pedler claps, a carriage in 64 and then for the sale of liquors 1865 thru 66.
Also found a Catharine Bechler b 1826, sailed from LeHavre, France on the ship Helvetia arrived NY 5 jul 1851. She was 25. Census from 1850-1860 do not mention either one. Need to visit Greenwood Cemetery and see what info they may have.
I'll try to do so within the next month or so.

Hello Alan,
I found the 1920 census for wm and Katharine. On the 1930 census has Wm (35) married at the age of 28 to a Carrie age (38) and married at age 31. Therefore married only 7 yrs. Carrie was born 1892 while Katharine was born 1897. I tried to find out if Katharine had died, found nothing. Then thought perhaps Carrie is a nickname for Katharine but Katherines parents were both born in germany per census. Carrie's mother was born in germany but father born PA. I found no children for either female. Another puzzle.

Per my mother Norma,dtr of Norman Heinecke, Aunt Dorothy did marry aN "Italian" but did not have any children due to a hysterectomy when she was 18. Have no info on Norma dtr of rudolph

I don't have much on Frederick Heinecke other than he died in either 1885 or 1886 in St. Louis, MO, USA. He died before his youngest son, Harry, was born. He was married, date unknown, to Helen (Hazel) Nesstlebusch). She was born in 1840 and died in 1925. I belive they were originally from Germany. They had 6 children Anna, Charles, Emma, Edith, Eddie, and Harry. If this was his second family he may be the same person you are talking about.

I just rescued an old family genealogy book from the local antique shop called "Genealogy from Adam to Christ with the Genealogy of Adam Heinecke and Henry Vandersaal from 1747 to 1881 to which is added a brief account of the author's travels in about sixteen years as an evangelist and twelve sermons composed by himself" by Rev. Samuel Heinecke, Elder, published in Lancaster, PA in 1881. I would be willing to check the book for any Heinecki family members who might be interested.

Friedrich Gottlieb Heinecke married Dorothea Frederica Helms somewhere in Hannover Germany? Family apparently came from Uelzen,Dannengerg, Holdenstedt area of Hannover Germany.
Anyone out there researching this family?
Their children were: Georg Friedrich 1821-1821, Friedrich Wilhelm 1822-1902, (my ancestor) Carl 1824, Johanna Dorothea 1826, and another Georg Friedrich 1829 all born in Elsdorf Germany. Proving hard to find them!

Freidrich Wilhelm Heinecke born 1822 Elsdorf, son of these two came to Melbourne Australia in 1853. So I guess there could have been more children born around that time and place?

Dorothea Frederica Helms 1787, wife of my Friedrich Gottlieb Heinecke was probably from Dannenberg as her Grandfather was Sebastian Helms Teacher in Dannenberg c.1753, His son George Wilhelm Helms 1757 was her father.

Do you still have this copy of the Heinecke - Vandersaal Genealogy? Is it for sale? What condition is it in? What is the printing date? I have a copy of the 1747 to 1868 version printed in 1869 at Philadelphia. I hope for your reply.

Please reply- My Frederick Heinecke was from Magdeburg area. He was previously a soldier and became a farmer in the nearby farmland called Colbitz. He had 5 children and his wife died in about 1847. He left after 1 year and was never heard of again.

Hello-Would you happen to have a Johann Joachim Heinecke in there? He was born July 30,1758 in Rade,Wittengen,Germany. He died May 23,1822 in Rade,Wittengen,Hanover,Germany. He married Anna Gasen March 28,1758 in Mahenburg,Germany.
