Looking for Heisers from Wheeling WV-Pittsburgh PA

My Heiser ancestor may have had initials W.F. He would have been born sometime around 1860, plus or minus.

In approximately 1880, he married Belle Clegg, and they had two daughters. At least one daughter, Pearl Heiser Belloff, was born in West Virginia.

At some point, Heiser and Clegg divorced, and he may possibly have been killed in an accident along with his new wife. (Unless I'm mixing up my stories--seems like alot of my ancestors managed to get killed in accidents!)

Anyway, I believe "WF" Heiser was living in Pittsburgh by about 1895-1900.

Would be very interested in sharing info--thank you!

Adam Heyser and wife Elizabeth of Grayson Co., KY around 1835 (and possibly Shepherdstown VA/WV)

I'm trying to trace the line of Adam Heyser and wife Elizabeth. In 1803 they purchased a lot in Shepherdstown, VA/WV. In 1835 they sold the lot to one of my Barnhart ancestors. In the deed book, it noted in 1835 that Adam Heyser and wife Elizabeth were of Grayson Co. KY.

One of my other Shepherdstown families has an ancestor named Catherine Heiser (b. 1765). Her father is noted simply as "John Hizer, blacksmith". I'm trying to determine if Adam Heyser and wife Elizabeth may be a relation to "John Hizer, blacksmith".

Thanks, Karen

I'm looking for the siblings and parents of Godfrey Heiser. He was one of 12 siblings who came to Albany, NY in 1827 from the village of Schwalbach, Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany (Schwabendorf, Heness, Preussen (Prussia)). Two years later, he settled in Buffalo, NY. Think he was married to Elizabeth Heiser. He started a beer brewery in Buffalo. He had one son and three(?) daughters--
Herman Heiser
Bertha Heiser
Elizabeth Heiser
Clara Heiser ?

The 1880 census lists a grandmother Barbara Heiser age 86 living with him in Hazleton.

John married Gertrude Kohlhaas of Hazleton in October 1872. They had the following children:
Conrad b 1873
George b 1875
Henry b. 1876
John Philip b 1879 My Grandfather
Adam b 1880
Lawrence b 1882
Elizabeth b 1885	m. Wehner
Matty b 1886	m. James Sullivan
Peter b 1890
Phillip	b after 1890
Anna	b 1883 m. Earl Dietrich
Catherine b 1894 m Carl Woelfel

I remember my father saying that Peter was the seventh son of a seventh son. So there should be more of the first John’s family. Also John Philip was the only boy of the family to marry.

I would appreciate hearing for anyone who knows about this family.

Thank you
Joan
Penn., by the 1840s when he married Rebecca Machen. They had two children, my gggrandmother, Sarah Heiser, born in 1846 in Marrietta, Penn, and a son Adam, born about 1852 in Illinois. The family was living in Freeport, Stephenson, Illinois according to the 1860 census. I have been unable to locate Adam or Rebecca after that.
Jan

I really have no information to go on. But I'm looking for any information regarding my fathers family. My fathers name is Roger William Heiser and has 1 sibling named Robert (Bob) Heiser. They lived in Falls City Nebraska where some family I know still does. His name is Jim Heiser I believe. I know the family originally came from somewhere in Germany but I have no information when or who. I met my father in California in 1993 for the first time and since 1996, we haven't spoken a word. If anyone can help, PLEASE respond A.S.A.P. This is extremely important due to health reasons. Thanks, Tom

On the 1880 census for Morgan county IL. they had Lucy born in 1875 and Frank born in 1878 in IL. I found them again on the 1900 census for Scott county, IL. They had Mabel born 1886, Raymond born in 1890, Meva born in 1891 and Amy born in 1896 in IL. I think they also had a son Jesse that moved to Mo. after 1900. I'm trying to find any living relatives of these people to exchange info with.
Thanks, Lynn

Frank Heiser, Chapin, Il.

I am seeking info on Frank Heiser born in the late 1870's to Sarah Evans and John Heiser. They are on the 1880 census for Morgan county, Il. A sister was also on it but I can't recall her name. Sarah is on the 1930 census for Morgan county but I haven't found Frank on later census. I would like to correspond with any living relatives of these Heisers. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Lynn

Heise - Heiser

Looking for Heise - Heiser line from Nieszawa, German Occupied Poland. Great Grandfather's name was Wilhelm Heise, born 03 Apr 1877. Surname changed later to Heiser before immigrating to USA. I believe Wilhelm ran away from home at an early age due to not getting along with his step-mother. I do not know how many (if any) siblings he had. Wilhelm married Jadwiga Maciejewski (who was born 16 Oct 1883,in Torun, German Occupied Poland). Please email me if you have info.

Heiser

My grandfather was Jefferson Heiser and he had a brother, John. Jefferson was born in 1869 and John was born in 1865. From the census of 1900 Jefferson was married to Helen Mitchell (Nell) and at that time had only 1 living child. John was single. My grandfather and grandmother were born in NY and were living in Brooklyn. apparently John was living with them at that time. I have not been able to get any other info except what was on the census report and a letter from my aunt (a later child) who is now deceased. If anyone has any information about any Heiser in the Brooklyn area please email me. Thanks
