I am searching for information on Anna Heiser. She was born about 1872 in New York She married William Scherrer, born about 1866 in New York. They lived in Nassau County, New York. They had at least three children:
• Elizabeth, b. 1896, m. 1914 to Joseph McManus, d. 1915. They had one child, Michael William.
• Alice, b. about 1896, m. Arthur Buckman, They had at least two children: Alice A., b. 1919 and William, b. about 1920.
• William J., b. about 1900.

Our last contact was 1968, Last known address was in the early 1980's in Euclid, Ohio. At one time she was a professor at USC. I don't believe she ever married. My Heiser ancestor may have had initials W.F. He would have been born sometime around 1860, plus or minus.

In approximately 1880, he married Belle Clegg, and they had two daughters. At least one daughter, Pearl Heiser Belloff, was born in West Virginia.

At some point, Heiser and Clegg divorced, and he may possibly have been killed in an accident along with his new wife. (Unless I'm mixing up my stories--seems like alot of my ancestors managed to get killed in accidents!)

Anyway, I believe "WF" Heiser was living in Pittsburgh by about 1895-1900.

Would be very interested in sharing info--thank you!

I am new at reserching information and my grandmother florence "Heiser" who was born in 1908. Her father Adam Heiser died when she was very young and this is all the information I was able to locate. If you know of any of the people that were related and can share information I would apprecaite it. Adam Heiser died between 1909-1910 I have a bit of information about his parents, grand and great grand father. do you think that there is a link between any of them? My grandmother Florence Heiser's Father was Adam Heiser born in Ohio abt 1872 to Henry & Mary Heiser. Adam Heiser was one of seven children (three brothers & three sisters). Joseph Heiser born abt 1867 - William Heiser born abt. 1869 - Rosa Heiser born abt 1873 - Anthony Heiser born abt 1876 - Elisabeth Heiser born abt 1878 and Mary M. Heiser was 4 months old in 1880. Adam Heiser died Sept 05, 1909 at the age of 33. This information was retrieved from an 1880 United States Federal Census document. Her Mother Jennie “Cameron” Heiser was born 1886 in Canada.

Henry Heiser’s Father Daniel Heiser was born in Pennsylvania abt 1806 – married his wife Mary J, Hoffman at the age of 24 in 1830. His craft was masonry work and farming - Died abt 1879 according to 1880 U.S Federal Census Mortality Schedule at the age of 73 of paralysis. Mary “Hoffman” Heiser died in 1898 at the age of abt 82

He is survived by one sister, four nieces and a nephew.

The earliest I've found my James P Heizer (my gg grandfather) was 1870 in Brown Co., OH. James' father was David, who was born in Ohio.
He worked for Joseph B. Heizer in Covington, Kenton, KY.

I'm trying to trace the line of Adam Heyser and wife Elizabeth. In 1803 they purchased a lot in Shepherdstown, VA/WV. In 1835 they sold the lot to one of my Barnhart ancestors. In the deed book, it noted in 1835 that Adam Heyser and wife Elizabeth were of Grayson Co. KY.

One of my other Shepherdstown families has an ancestor named Catherine Heiser (b. 1765). Her father is noted simply as "John Hizer, blacksmith". I'm trying to determine if Adam Heyser and wife Elizabeth may be a relation to "John Hizer, blacksmith".

His children from that marriage were: Mary Magdalena, Elizabeth, Joseph (my Uncle}, Regina Philomena, Mary A., Ellenora, Nicholas Rudolph, Lawrence, Jacob W., Gertrude, William J., John R. and Luke.

Joseph was born Feb. 3, 1853, married Elizabeth Dollman Nov. 1880. Their children were Ralph Joseph, born Feb. 16, 1893 and Rosellia, born June 29, 1896 {adopted}.

Ralph Joseph had a son Russell born in 1915 and a daughter, Alberta or Alverta, born 1919 in McKees Rocks, Allegheny Co.

I have been searching for an EISER who maried and Elizabeth Clupper of Unity, Columbiana Co. Ohio.
Elisabeth's father-a German- made out a will and named,
Elizabeth Eiser, no husbands name given.
Since he could neither read or write but had to dictate his will, could he have meant Heiser and and the writter wrote EISER?
I have searched for this couple for months on end and still have no clues.
Elizabeth was born in 1828 and after her marriage may have moved on.

My great grandfather Peter Heiser immigrated from Germany in 1849, He was discharged from the Union army in 1865 and maried. He farmed in Washington County and is on the 1890 index.My father's list had Emma (1868), Friedrich (1866), Karl(1876, my grandfather), Albert(1879), Louise(1883), John(1881), Wilhelm(1887) and Kristina(1872). I don't have a date of death, but it was after 1892.

I am looking for the parents of John Heiser b 8 June 1850 in Kurhassen Germany His obituary in the Hazleton Pa , 27 Nov 1899 paper lists two brothers Henry who lived in Hazleton and George who lived in Germany. His mother was listed as living in Dayton Ohio. The 1880 census lists a grandmother Barbara Heiser age 86 living with him in Hazleton.

John married Gertrude Kohlhaas of Hazleton in October 1872. They had the following children:

Frank died before the 1910 Lancaster, Lancaster Co, PA census, but was enumerated in that county in 1900. [see extract below]

Lena (Pein) Heiser was alive on 25 June 1943 living in Hazelton, Luzerne Co, PA. source: sister's (Dartha) obituary

I am seeking the parents of Lena and Dartha Pein. Both parents and Lena were born in Prssia/Germany and entered the United States in 1864 eumerated in Dartha's 1920 PA census record.

I have been unable to find Lena Heiser in the 1920 and 30 census.

I'm searching for relatives of Adam Heiser. According to census records, he was born about 1814 in New York. He was living in Lancaster Cty. Penn., by the 1840s when he married Rebecca Machen. They had two children, my gggrandmother, Sarah Heiser, born in 1846 in Marrietta, Penn, and a son Adam, born about 1852 in Illinois. The family was living in Freeport, Stephenson, Illinois according to the 1860 census. I have been unable to locate Adam or Rebecca after that.

On the 1880 census for Morgan county IL. they had Lucy born in 1875 and Frank born in 1878 in IL. I found them again on the 1900 census for Scott county, IL. My grandfather was Jefferson Heiser and he had a brother, John. Jefferson was born in 1869 and John was born in 1865. From the census of 1900 Jefferson was married to Helen Mitchell (Nell) and at that time had only 1 living child. John was single. Johann married Rosine Ehrmann born 1831 in
Germany. Together they had several children
one of which was Anna Maria Heiser born 1859 in Hoffnungstal, So. Russia.
Anna Maria (Mary) married Friedrich Wilhelm Digel (also spelled Diegel or
Diegle). They immigrated to the US and settled around
the Java, South Dakota area.
