George J. Helfrich Jr., 84, of Brookline, died Sunday, Feb. 8, 2009. He was the brother of Dorothy Helfrich, Virginia Blandino and Margaret Zangrilli; uncle of Bruce (Joanne), Carl (Donna), David (Barbara) and Alan (Mary) Blandino and Patrick (Karen) and Duane (Cindy) Zangrilli; also survived by 13 great-nieces and -nephews and one great-great-nephew. Friends welcome from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at BEINHAUERS, 2630 W. Liberty Ave., Dormont, 412-531-4000. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Pius X Church. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery. Please add or view tributes at www.beinhauerfamilyservices.com.
