Please contact me directly at FFFMoore@aol.com with your response to my Hellen descendants' query of Feb. 27, 2000. I would love to hear from you.

Anyone have info on Thomas Hellen-1860 KS Federal Census Index/ listed as Mary E. wife and William 9-Altie 5. Could this have been a mistake and the name is really Kellen or did Thomas change his name later? Thomas was 30 born in Delaware. Mary was from Kentucky. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I started out by looking for Hellens on Classmates.com. I have met a lot of them but none are related to me as of yet. I found Hellens all the way in England. I was born in Raleigh, NC 1-10-1947. My father was James Henry Hellen born 12-21-1894. Died Oct. 1969. I think my father had a brother. I believe that Bertha, Eugene and possibly Mattie Hellen are relatives. Sorry, I don't know much about my family.
