Edna W. Heller
Of Green Avenue Tower, formerly of 113 1st Ave., died at 11:26 p.m. Monday, Jan. 1, 1979, in Altoona Hospital, after an extended illness. Mrs. Heller retired as a cashier from the W. F. Gable Co. She was born July 14, 1904, in Juniata, the daughter of Edgar and Effie (Keith) Whitesel, and married W. Carl Heller, who died Aug. 1, 1966. Surviving are four children, Dottie at home, Mrs. Betty Lutz and Wilian C. Jr. of Altoona and Mrs. Peggy Summers of Port Matilda; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mrs. Heller was a member of the Second Avenue United Methodist Church and Sunday School, Delphi Chapter Order of Eastern Star and the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen Auxiliary. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday in the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Juniata.
