James Franklin Helton 1904-1956 of Harlan, KY

Surnames: Helton of Harlan Co., KY (Wallins Creek area)
Looking for James's first wife and their children. I have been told that his first wife may have been a first cousin and that their children were Fred & Gladys Helton.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
James later married Nellie Fletcher of VA and had 4 children: Jimmy Helton 1936-1999 and 3 that are still living.
James is the s/o Carlo Helton and Leety Crawford in which Carlo is the s/o Elijah "Lige" Helton & Elizabeth "Lizzie" Vaughn
