I have been researching men who worked for Vickers Steelworks in Sheffield England and fell in the Great War 1914-18. The result of this research and details about William A. Hemming and his family can be found on http://www.stannington.webitsmart.co.uk/
A member of the Northumberland Fusiliers (Tyneside Scottish). Can anybody tell me more about William and his family - Did he have brothers and sisters? What did he do in the Steelworks?
