There's one small branch of my family out there that are Hempsteads that I've never met. Herbert Hempstead Jr. b. 11/5/1889 died in Sarasota, FL in 1971, he married Camille Mildred Neal in 1917 in Bridgeport, CT, they had one daughter that I know of, Camille Hempstead born around 1929. I cant find anything past that about any living relatives.
Herbert Hempstead Jr's mother was Alice Beal of Brooklyn, NY, she is my great-great grandfather's sister. The Beal family stayed small over the years but I am looking for the Hempstead branch that may be in Connecticut or Florida
