Am seeking information of WIFE of Jacob Hendershot (1747-1825) born New Jersey, son
of Johann George (John George) and Anne Schooley. Jacob removed to Bedford County, Pa. and led militia as Captain in 1777 of the Bedford County, Rangers. He and unknown wife had John (1764); Sarah (1766); Peter (1770) Gasper/Casper (1771); Thomas (1773) Vet of War of 1812; and David b. 1774.
This mother died sometime after 1774. NEED HER NAME.
