I have found records of Wm. Monroe Hendershot b. 21 Oct 1845 Sundale, Muskingum, OH; d. 12 Mar 1929 Portland, OR as son of two different sets of parents:
James H. Hendershott b. 11 Oct 1829 Lebanon, St. Clair, IL; d. 26 Jan 1897 Cove, Union, OR. James H. m. Harriet Jane Vincent b. 14 Apr 1831 Youngstown, Mahoning, OH; d. 5 Dec 1917 Salem, Marion, OR. The 2nd set of parents I've found is Jesse Hendershott b. 21 Feb 1813 PA; d. 8 Feb 1901. He m. Matilda Monroe b. 8 July 1813 OH; d. 6 July 1892. Can anyone help me sort this out once and for all. By the way, I have Bible records of Jesse Hendershott 1813-1901, his wife Matilda Monroe 1813-1892, and some of their children.
