I'm having trouble researching my Hendren relatives as well, perhaps this may be the reason! My Great Great Grandmother was Anna L Hendren, born in Clinton, TN in 1888. I wouldn't have normally linked the two except that she ended up marrying Charles Ernest West who lived in North Wilkes, NC (born 1886). I don't know if perhaps Anna Hendren's family moved to NC or what. I'm also getting information that says Anna Hendren's Father may have been born in either Tennessee or North Carolina as well, but I don't have much information beyond Anna.
Anyway, if you know of anything let me know, and I'll let you know if I find anything.
