Hendrick family of Deer Isle Maine

Surnames: Hendrick/Hendricks/Hendrix
I am interested in establishing the lineage of the Deer Isle, Maine, Hendrick family line. The line has been traced to the current generation living in Thomaston and Camden Maine, through Richard Melvin (b 1888 d 1969), James D. (b 1858 d ), Christopher (b ca 1811 d 1869), to James Hendrick.
James Hendrick was married to Hanna Gray and had two sons, Christopher and Stillman. James has not been located in available records for Deer Island or Hancock County Maine.
I would like to establish contact with a living male descendent of this line to discuss willingness to participate in the Hendrick/Hendricks/Hendrix DNA project.
Research conducted to date on this family will be shared.
