Surnames: McGovern/McGoveron
I am a descendant of Hugh McGovern, brother of Hannah McGoveron. I started this research into the McGovern family and the only information I have is off the NSW BDM indexes for the McGovern & Henry families respectively. I am interested in solving the riddles of the McGovern family as the information I have is fairly disjointed and does not make much sense. As far as I know, Edward McGovern/McGoveron had two wives. Firstly, Elisabeth Shannon (Hugh's mother) and Margaret Stanley (mother of Robert, Johnstone, Hannah & Gilbert).
If you would like further information such Hannah's emigration details (which you probably already have) and a copy of her death certificate. I would also appreciate any information that you could provide me with.
