Bettie Henes was the daughter of Bertha Meyers and Charles Henes of Colburg, Germany.
Bettie was born in Wisconsin about 1883. She died in Milwaukee in 1972. She married Peter Andrew Grogan, who was born in Stanley, WI in 1885 and died in Milwaukee in 1954.
For a time, Bertha Henes lived with Bettie and Peter while she was a widow.
They had three daughters: Dorothy (Howard August Heun), Lucille Catherine, and Janet May.
