CAN ANYONE HELP? HERE IS MY STORY:

My maiden name is Henness. My dad is Douglas Ray Henness born 02/02/1945. married my mom Brenda Lee Kingsbury born 11/04/1946

My dad's dad was George Henness born 08/21/1917 died 02/09/1994 who was married to Naomi (A.KA. Peggy) Jenkins. They had 2 children.
My father was adopted in July 20 1948 Delaware Co . NY by Mr . & Mrs . Theodore Henness ( his great uncle and aunt. Theodore Henness born Nov. 15 1909. who was married to Elnora E. Henness born Feb.26 1915.)Eelnora was married to Theodore's brother first until his death thats when she married him.

My father had a sister whos birth name was Betty J Henness . She was adopted also but by a family in Holland Patent and renamed Virginia A . Nuessle . Her adopted parents names where Don and Shirley Nuessle i believe. She was adopted in 07/20/1948.

Goerges dad was William Henness born 09/06/1882 died 04/18/1956. Married to Belle Slater born 10/31/1887 died 06/10/1967. they had 5 children all together. (I have all 5 childrens names and b-days)

Williams dad was Jacob Henness born 01/20/1861 died 03/11/1946 married to Ellen Van Auken born 07/04/1868 died 09/23/1956. They had 14 children all together. and some died in a fire as children.(I have 10 out of the 14 names and b-days)

Jacobs dad was John Henness no dates for him, married a Besty Tigget no dates for her. Not sure how many children they had. This is where I am stuck.

Now I have a big gap. Here is a little more info that was provided to my great aunt Elnora Henness who was married to Theodore Henness son of Jacob Henness:

I have listed a Stephen Elias Henness married to a Lanet Shroh no dates of brirths or deaths for them. But they had a son Peter H Henness born 1860 died 1905

Peter married a Ida Augusta O'Dell born 1862 dies 1917. and they had a son David Edwin Henness born 1882 died 1959.

David married a Mary Esther Jomes born 1883 died 1976.
They had a son Francis David Henness born 1918 died 1943.

Francis married Elizabeth G. Angler born 1922. And they had a daughter Gail Frances born 03/06/1944 who married a Richard Franklin.

Now what I am trying to figure out if this info is correct and how they are related to me.

Also provided to my Aunt Elnora was info on Benjamin Henness born 1760 died 02/23/1847 who married Dorcus Lee (General Robert Lee's Duaghter)
They had 9 children listed.

Benjamin's father is listed as a David Hennis married to a Sarah. No dates givien for them. And I have 6 children listed for them with estimated dates given.

Agian not sure if the little info is correct or if and how they are related to me.

This info I found that was sent in 1983 to my great great aunt by a Glen L Henness who lives some where in Brandon FL.
