My maiden name is Henness. My father is Douglas Ray Henness (born 02/02/1945) married my Mom Brenda Lee Kingsbury born 11/04/1946. My dad had a sister who's birth name was Betty J. Henness.

His father (my grandfather) was George Henness born Aug. 21 1917 and died Feb. 9 1994. His mother a Naomi Jenkins AKA Peggy. George had an uncle named Theodore Henness born Nov. 15 1909. who was married to Elnora E. Henness born Feb. 26 1915.

Elnora was married to Theodore's brother first until his death that's when she married him. Theodore and Elnora adopted my father from George and raised him as there own. As far as I know they where all born some where in the Fulton, West Fulton New York area.

Now my dad was adopted in July 20, 1948, Delaware Co. NY by Mr. & Mrs. Theodore Henness (his great uncle and aunt). His sister was adopted also but by a family in Holland Patent, NY and renamed Virginia A. Nuessle. Her adopted parents names where Don and Shirley Nuessle I believe. She was adopted in 07/20/1948 or shortly before or after.

My Mom grow up with her that's how she meet my dad. But as the yrs went by she lost touch with my aunt and my dad left us. I am trying to find my aunt and have no idea how to go about this.

I am looking for my aunt or anyone who ever knew her or her adopted family. I am working on the Henness family tree and need to get more info on her and the adopted family.
