Michael Hennessy and Mary MCGANNON were married in 1848 in County Clare, Ireland. She was the Hotel Keeper at Fairdown Junction Westport NZ
Mary MCGANNON (daughter of James MCGANNON and Brigit FOX) was born in 1830 County Clare, Ireland. She died on 9 August 1901 in Westport West Coast NZ.
Her Brother inherited the MCGANNON & Son family property in County Clare, Ireland
Michael Hennessy and Mary MCGANNON had the following children:

4 iii. Maria Hennessy, born in 1856, County Clare, Ireland; married Patrick RYAN, on 8 February 1882, Westport NZ.
5 iv. Margaret Hennessy, born in 1861, County Clare, Ireland; married Thomas SHERLOCK, on 14 June 1882.
6 v. Michael Jr. HENNESSY, born in 1867, County Clare, Ireland; married Sarah BULL, in 1889, Westport NZ.
7 vi. Annie Hennessy, born in 1871, County Clare, Ireland; married John O'BRIEN, in 1892, Westport NZ.
8 vii. William Patrick Hennessy, born on 16 May 1872, Milltown, County Clare Ireland; married Elizabeth CAREY, in 1897, F. No. 3171; died in November 1960.
