ANDREW HENNING
In 1882 Andrew HENNING and his brother, John,
came from Germany and were stone masons in
Adrian. In 1885 Andrew returned to Germany to
marry Marie Voss, and then they, and all the
Voss family, came to Minnesota. Andrew and
his wife bought the farm in Larkin township where
they lived the rest of theirs lives. Eleven children
were born to them, including Herman, of Lismore,
and Clara Forrette of Adrian, the only two residing
in this area. The mother died at an age that left the
family raising to the father, Andrew.
