Surnames: Henning/hennig Scherrer/Scherer
Looking for anyone with information on the Henning/Hennig family that immigrated in 1890-1891 from Germany and lived in Detroit, Michigan. The father was Otto (born Jan 1847 in Germany), his wife Caroline (Born June 1845 in Germany), a daughter Pauline (born Oct. 1882 in Germany) and Adolph (born July 1883 in Germany). I have been told that there were other brothers named Ed and Gus and possibly an Otto Jr., but there are no records of them in Michigan and may have been older and out of the family household soon after immigrating. Pauline married a Nicolaus Scherrer/Scherer between 1900-1910.
