Surnames: Henning Switzgable
Hi Sandy,
Lucinda was also a Switzgable, sister to Sophia.
I am descended from William Henning and Sophia Switzgable.
Their daughter Catherine "Cassie' married Henry Hittner.
Their daughter Esther Helen married Rufus Smith.
Their son Luther married Kathryn Green,(my parents).
Thanks to obituaries saved by a cousin and genealogist in Carbon County, I was able to piece together much of our Carbon and Monroe County Henning puzzle (all subject to verification, of course.)
I got some help with the Switzgable side from Mike Switzgabel's website and correspondence. (homepages.rootsweb.com/~mschwitz)
