Christie,
I may be able to help you a bit. My paternal grandmother was Florence Maxon Blevins (1900-1995). Her mother, Laura Gamble Maxon (1882-1949), divorced her first husband (my great-grandfather) in 1926. Later that year she married Nathan Wiley Henning (1886-1971) in Monessen PA.
Just last week I was visiting my sister in Denver who inherited our grandmother's Bible. I looked through this Bible only to discover that it was a Henning family Bible, purchased in 1880 by Nathan's father, James K. Henning (10 Oct 1845-17 Dec 1883) of Washington County PA.
There are 4 births, 8 deaths and one marriage recorded in this Bible. If this is your family, please contact me directly at yairi@lhtot.com as I can scan the relevant pages for you.
