Hi Samantha,
I read your posting and guess what? We are related. Your dad Chris is my first cousin. My name is Christine (Johnson) Hastings. Your grandfather George and my mom Marguerite are brother and sister. My grandfathers name is William George Henninger and my grandmothers name is Veronica Pauline (Bednar) Henninger. They lived in Long Branch, New Jersey for many years. Pap, as he was called by us, died in May of 1967 when I was in second grade. I did not know him long enough but I remember him as a real character who was always teasing. We used to go to Long Branch every year for Easter and stay with Mam & Pap. Mam moved to Shamokin after Pap died and lived there with Aunt Martha until Mam passed away in August of 1985. She was wonderful. I was very close to her and still miss her today. I have not seen your father in about 30 years but I still get a Christmas card every year from your grandfather George and Terry. It would be nice to hear more from you about your family. I remember seeing pictures of you when you where a little girl and as I recall you had a sister? also. I hope to hear something from you, until then, your cousin --- Chris
