Did you ever find a connection to the Henningfeld family from Wisconsin? I have a Frederick Henningfeld who served in the Civil War for Wisconsin. After the war he moved to St. Louis where he married and died. He was a brother of my gggf Franz Henningfeld. The family came over in 1845 and 1847 from Vinnum, near Munster, Germany. In the 1700's the family lived in Henrichenburg, Germany.
