Hello Jordan! I think your grandfather is my great uncle... your grandfather is from Canby, correct? Or maybe he is the son of one of the great uncles... the family has gotten so big, I can't keep track anymore! My grandfather was Gerald, oldest son from the farm in Canby... he actually just recently passed away. The funeral was quite the family reunion for me - I haven't seen many of my relatives in 15 or 20 years!! Imagine seeing a cousin that is only a month older than you... the last time you saw him you were both 14 or 15... and now he's getting grey hair and going bald!! I had no idea how old I'm getting until that moment! LOL!

I hope you'll write again, Jordan. I'd love to learn more about you!

Hay there mrs. Carie Henningsgaard thatn would be cool to have a family reunion I from stillwater, minnesota about 15 minutes from St. Paul, I am currently attending Century College for business managment My grandparents are Russell Heningsgaard and evy heninngsgaard and they live about a half hour from from St. Cloud. Just suffing the net at school thought I would sway hello to the family.

Hey, it's you cousin Per! Remember me? Well, I have vague memories of you, and I was quite young at the time, so hopefully you have some of me, too. Anyway, I just saw your message today, and I realize it was posted a long time ago, but I thought maybe you still checked this thing; (I'll send this same message to your Yahoo address, so that we have a better chance of connecting). I could tell you loads about our family if you'd only contact me, so I hope to hear from you soon. Just as a teaser: you still have a cousin in Washington (but the other moved to Oregon quite a few years ago) and an aunt in California. There's a lot more to tell you, so I hope you write.

My name is Steve Henningsgaard, Last son of Rodney and Ardith, Grandson of Martin and Thecla, and Great grandson of Anders and Beret. I live on the farm in Canby Mn were Martin and Thecla lived then my mom and Dad. I don't know any of my Henningsgaard Cousins would love to here from you,,,,,

Greetings! My family has done some research on the Henningsgaard family. My second cousin who lives in waukon, Iowa has done a lot of research with her mother. My grandma also has records that trace our roots back to a cemetary in norway in the 1600s. This was on the Norwegian sweden border. Apparently there is a town or a street that they originated from. Henningsgaard means farmers garden I think. If I can help you or hook you up with some other Henningsgaard relatives I would be happy to do that.

I am interested infinding any of my relatives that are currently online with email access. I have cousins that grew up in Washington, siblings in Texas, an aunt in California (I think)and many immediate relatives in Minnesota. It has been years since I've seen or talked to any of them, and would like the chance to catch up on our lives. I am looking for some history on the Henningsgaard family. I don't know much and thus I am trying to find out more about them. If you have any info please let me know. My grandfather's name was Leander Henningsgaard, he died in 1985.
