Jo,

I have copied pages of the Beidler book as well as scads of other Durstine related (secondary) material in storage in Seattle. I hope to retrieve my 'trunks' by Fall '02.

You jogged my memory regarding the three sisters. While I don't recall much about Mirriam, I did attend funerals for the other two as a child. Although she lived in Detroit, my grandmother Nina (Durstine) Owen was buried in, I believe, Hartford, CT (c.1966/7?) and my great aunt Lillian was buried in Montclair, NJ (c.1968?). They apparently were your father's 1st cousins, which, I believe, makes my mother, and my two aunts, your 2nd cousins.

According to the chart my grand father made.....

Francis M. LANSING(H)
(of 1-Gerrit F., 2-Hendrick G., 3-Jacob H., 4-Johannes J., 5-Johannes I.)
b. Jul 5, 1791
d. Mar 19, 1855
m. Feb 1, 1810 Susan MOUNT
b. Dec 27, 1791
d. Jan 29, 1841
daughter of
Elijah & Lydia (BARCLAY) MOUNT.

To Washtenaw Co. in 1834.

I'll e-mail you my address and more info soon.

Robert
