I’m from Northern Ireland. My German grandfather was a Danz. In the 1970’s we all attended a Danz family meeting in Weiterstadt, Hessen where we were all given a family tree. At that time our branch was only traced back as far as an ADAM Danz from KLEIN-ZIMMERN who married BARBARA GANS. We were told that any older records (from Mainz?) had been destroyed during WWII. I only have dates for his son and descendants in Germany. Do you have any info on / connections to this ADAM Danz, or any pointers on where I can find some more info on Danz family from KLEIN-ZIMMERN? Help greatly appreciated as I am a novice.

ADAM Danz (Klein-Zimmern) married BARBARA GANS, moved to MAINZ-MOMBACH.
Son - ADAM Danz b. 30/09/1849 MAINZ-MOMBACH, d. 31/12/1989 WEITERSTADT, married in 1872 KAROLINE ENGEL b. 07/03/1847 d. 07/07/1928. Moved to Weiterstadt in 1876. Had 6 sons.
