Surnames: Henriksson....with a Niemi friend
Just a little question here....ever seen this spelling?...Henriksson?
I have a ship manifest, for a Matti Niemi....who used John Henriksson , 412 15th Street, Brainerd Minnesota, on July 15th 1910....as the friend that was expecting him from Finland, and off the boats.
I am looking for a grandfather....and I am trying wild cards here, thinking I might find his ancestors by finding his friends.....
My Grandfather was Matt E. Niemi, and he came from somewhere in Finland, before 1916, and lived in Eveleth, before he was injured in a mine cave in....he then was in the Nopeming Sanitorium, until he died, in 1927.
