I'm look ing for any information on my Great-Granduncle, Donald A. Henriksen b. 1890 in Denmark d. 1930?-1940?-1950? in Illinois? Ex(?) wife named Doris. The last I can find him is in the 1920 Illinois census (spelled Henrikson) as a patient in Elgin State Hospital. I don't even know if he had children. Does anyone have a Donald or Doris Henriksen in their family tree?

I am looking information on the descendants of P. Henriksen of the Winnipeg area. Mrs. Henriksen is a daughter of August and Johanna (nee Larson) Benson, and who lived at Charleswood, Man. in 1944. Charleswood would be a suburb of Winnipeg now. She was probably Gertrude Benson, born Mar. 1910 at Winnipeg but she could be her sister, Annie Benson, born Aug. 1907. Gertrude had older brothers, Arthur and Olaf, and a younger sister Kay.

From the The Winnipeg Evening Tribune June 14, 1944 pg. no 19: "Mrs. Johanna Benson. Funeral services for Mrs. Johanna Benson, 70, of Oak Bluff, Man. were held today at 2:45 p.m. in Mordue's funeral home, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Mrs. Benson was born in Sweden and came to Canada in 1900. In 1904 she moved to Oak Bluff, Man where she resided until nine months ago when she moved to Charleswood, Man to live with her daughter, Mrs. P. Henriksen. She was a member of the Ladies' Aid Society at Oak Bluff. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Henriksen and Mrs. Kay Wigg, England; two sons, Arthur, Oak Bluff; Olax, serving with the RCAF; one sister, Carrie Jorgensen, Norquay, Sask and three grandchildren. Her husband, August, died in 1934."

Frederik Henriksen was born in Hvalso, Zealand, Denmark 1843-1849 and emigrated to Australia with his wife Karen (Ohlsen) about 1878 on the "Indirekte". At that time they had 2 children, Peter & Anna. Peter died during the voyage and was buried at sea. If anyone has any information about Frederik or Karen, I would be grateful if they would contact me.

I'm trying to find information on a relative born in Norway in 1881. All's that we know is, he came to the United States in 1899. He was known by the first name of George. He was supposedly married to a Dutch woman, name unknown and had two children, unknown. His mother was Unni Oldsdatter Maredal/Moran and his father was Henrik Guttormsen Engum Stokkebo.

Would like to find the name of his wife and children and if there are still any living descendants. We would like to find out where George died and is buried. Someone said that he may have died in 1920, but we haven't been able to find any proof. We were told that he may have lived in Washington, and he had spent time in the East South Dakota/Minnesota area.

This one has been a very hard relative to locate.

We have one or two pictures of him, if anyone out there is related to guy.

I have been told that Henrik Christensen was married to two or three wives and is said to have had up to 18 kids. I could use help in finding their names. Henrik was from Vjabensted, Sakskbing, Maribo, Denmark. He was born on Feb 2 1799. He was married to Johanne Sorensen. So far I have been able to find only three on his kids.
