My g.g.grandfather was John James Henson (married Sara Jane Cross). His parents were Wm.Eli Henson,II and Elizabeth James (desc of Drury James);his parents were Wm.Eli Henson,I and Edith ?; his parents were John Henson and Elizabeth ?.
John James Henson and Sara Jane Cross had two children, Edward Lorenzo Henson and Theodoshia Henson. Theodosia Henson married William Sunderman in 1909 and had 4 children, Lillian(my mother), Paul, Marion and Helen. Lillian Sunderman married Charles G Wilson in 1929 and had 3 children, Charles L., Barbara J.(me)and Alan Jerome.
I'm trying to see if I can go back further than John Henson/Elizabeth ?. I think John Henson fought in the Revoluitonary War, but I find 2 John Hensons in the military records and don't know if one of them is my ancestor or not. HELP!
