Henton's in the West Indies
I am looking for the origins of a Henton family from St. Thomas Virgin Islands. The earlier member I have for this family is Joseph Henton born 1840 in the Danish Virgin Islands. He may have been a mulatto free man of color and baptized in the Anglican church. Any link to a Henton known to have gone to sea or to the West Indies would be appreciated.
