Judy.. My grandmother was Frances Herald Vance, my father was her son Frank Vance, I was so glad to see someone here that had some of the same names in their ancestry that I recognized. I don't have much on any of them. My dad joined the CCC when he was very young. He was stationed in Nicholas County, WV. We didn't get to know his family on either side very well since we lived so far away, back in the days when I was growing up, not many people had cars.. :) I don't know how they tie into the Marcums. What was your grandmothers name?
