I have been doing some research on my wife's ancestor Bernhard Sulz who was born in Wurttemberg, Germany and removed to the U.S. He is living in Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT at the time of the 1900 census, which gives his birth as Apr 1823, Germany. I believe that his is probably the Bernhard Sulz, son of Johan Martin Sulz and Agnes Brusler born 13 Apr 1822 in Moessingen, Schwarzwaldkreis, Wuerttemberg, Germany listed in the IGI. This Bernhard Sulz married Regina Herder, daughter of Johann Georg Herder and Agnes Nill, on 18 Jan 1848. (This would be consistent with the fact that his wife Freda also went by Regina, and with the fact that their marriage year is approximately 1848 according to the 1900 census.)

I would be interested in comparing notes with anyone who might be researching these families.
