I have been told that Jan Herder (3/3/1743-9/11/1835) and wife Commertje Hoes of Claverack, Columbia Coo NY, had a son named Robert (b.1775). Robert married Cathrina Traver on 9/26/1805 in Claverack. I have been able to find info on numerous children of Jan as well as children of Robert but cannot find any connection between the two. Can anyone help with this connection if there is one, if not, who were Roberts parents?
