I am seeking information about the children of this man, who was born in New Jersey in 1846 and died in Janesville, Minnesota in 1884 of consumption. He left a young widow, Fannie E. Hastings Heritage, b. 1860 Wisconsin, and two children, Robert or William (born 1879 Minnesota) and Emma or Ella, (born 1877 Minnesota).
These children have just disappeared from the census, as does their mother, until 1900 when she marries again --to Valentine B. Harris in Rochester, Minnesota. I want to know what happened to them.
