I am trying to find the origin of our last name..Is it German, Irish, Dutch, etc...If any knows, I would appreciate a response. By the way, I am a Herring from Texas. Dad is Jerry Herring, Grandfather is Floyd Herring, etc. Relatives are from the Missouri area and great great grandparents resided in Gatesville, Tx.
