Both my grandmothers were Herringtons before they both married Smiths. My maternal grandmother was Barbara Ellen Herrington Smith. Her father was Hugh Herrington and her mother was Amanda Reaves/Reeves. My paternal grandmother was Nancy Elizabeth Herrington Smith. Her father was James M. Herrington who married Rachel Truhitt.
