Lookoing for information on Henry Jr, son of Henry and Dorothy Herrman, Henry married Belle Rankin ,in Jo Daviess County,Illinois died in 1879. Married Flora in 1886. Emma's Maisen name was posibly Randall. There daughter was Hattie. 1990 census sats she was 15 .
Fred Herman was born in Illinois, died in Ioea. He married Emma Whis maiden name,possibility was Wright.

I am looking for information about Dorothy Amelia Herrman, b 1885 in Kansas. She married Neal Harvey Anderson. She is my husband's grandmother. My father's family is from Kansas - of Volga German descent. His relative married Herrman's. But I cannot find any record of Dorothy's family. Any help is appreciated. Will gladly share research. I hope this finds you after all these years (since you posted this message). We are cousins! My Father's grandparents were a Basgall and an Appelhans. Did you know that some believe Basgall was Pasquale before they came to USA.

I am researching the Herrmann name from where Ann Amelia Brumpton married Leonard Edward Herrmann in 1863.
I am interested in all descendants from the Brumpton name. It was my mother's maiden name and my grandfather's ancestry was Lincolnshire.

Ann Amelia Brumpton was born in Bermondsey, South London in 1844. Her father was from Holborn, London and her grandfather was from Lincolnshire.
I am researching Brumpton and ALL descendants. It is a very Lincolnshire surname. It was my mother's maiden name. Please contact me.

Mrs Ruth Herrman Leishman, wife of Rev. Dr. William Leishman, pastor of the Lewes Presbyterian church, died from a heart attack here Monday at The Manse on Kings Highway. A native of West Pittson, Pennsylvania, she was daughter of the late Mr & Mrs William Herrman. She has made her home here for almost 20 years and was an active member of the Zwaanendale Club and prominent in church work in the vicinity

his fathers name was Eustachius who is a descendant of Jacob. I have quite a bit of history.
you can call the LaCrosse Lib and there is a book or
two that gives all the history including Jacob and the
founders of all the little towns I was able to get it
through the lib loan program and I copied it.

Looking for information about ancestry and descendants of Ludwig (Louis) Christian Heinrich Herrmann and his wife Christina Margareta Eliza Licht. Louis was born in Holstein (now part of Germany) in 1857. He came to America aboard the ship Suevia in 1886. He married Christina the following year in Clinton, Iowa. They had 17 children:

I am trying to find the Herrmans from Heilbronn, Wurttenberg, Germany. I know that my great (*5) grandfather emmagrated from there with his mother and father I believe but I am not too sure. my father is rudolph t. herrman whose father was joseph e herrman married to magdalena hepp. joseph's father was john e herrman married to elizabeth webber. john's father was jacob herrman, sr. (b-1825--d-1910) and was married to margaret wittman (b-1827--d-1887) and came to america abt 1875 from the volga river region in russia. jacob's father was john peter, jr.and married to angeli boxler. john peter's father was john peter, sr. don't know who he was married to. john peter, sr's father was bartholomew and bartholomew's father was nickolas herrman.

Her Father was George Herman b;June 19,1858 Ohio; d: October 01,1937 in Elyria, Lorain County, Ohio; wife Adeline Opper; George's Father was Frank Joseph Herrmann; b:March 12, 1812 in Alsace-Lorraine, Germany; d: November 01, 1889 in Sandusky County, Ohio; wife Theresa Weber. My great grandmother was Amelia Persun, married John Davis Clark. They lived in Lycoming Co., PA until about 1880 when they moved to Wisconsin. They are buried in the Oregon, WI cemetery.
I believe her father was Evan Persun. This family is one of my dead ends. I know there is some history of them in the Lycoming Co History book but I do Not have access to it and it's out of my price range to buy. If this is the same family I would be glad to share what little info I have with you.

Am looking for any info on a Christian Hermann,Herrman, Herman, Herrmann. With the changes made in names it is hard to know the correct spelling. He married a Eva Peters (Reichardt) who came over on a ship from Germany (Rorhbach) when she was 16 0r 18 yrs of age. She had a sister named christina Sackman. Eva was born 29/2/1868 D 11/5/1957.
To my knowledge they had 5 children Edith (my grandmother) Rebecca, Minnie, Leon, Albert. Hope some of this rings a bell with someone out there. Thanks in advance.
Also Christian came from Germany.

Hi. I'm Bob and I have Herrman on my fathers and my mothers side of my family. Some are spelled herman. I think they are all of the same family.
My father was John L. Breit. His brother, My uncle Joseph M. Breit. His daugher married Leo Herrman. Sept 1 1929. My Great Uncle Johannes Breit. His son Anton married Cleopha Herrman. Oct 8 1935. In Pfeifer KS. And my Uncle Johannes Breit his son George Breit's son Sylvester. Married Rosena Herman June 25 1935 In Pfeifer KS. And his other son Viktor Breit Married Laura Herman Nov 9 19?
My mother was Apollonia Basgall Breit. Her brother my Uncle Joseph Peter Basgall married Margaretha Hermann April 26 1904. Her sister My Aunt Elizabetha married Martin M Herman, Nov 27 1906 In Pfeifer KS.
I have not been doing this research for very long. And trying to get more info on the Herrmans. What little info I have I am sure is correct. I hope this can help someone. Can use any info on the Herrmans in or around the Pfeiffer KS area

Does anyone know if this Jacob Herman had any cousins named Fredrich, Heinrich, and George? Fred, and Henry lived in WA state and George and his wife lived in CO. My Jacob HERRMAN was supposed to marry Maria Katrina LEONHARDT but never did. He brought her here from Frank, Russia to marry her and when she married my grandfather instead, Jacob moved to Russell, Bazine, KS and supposedly lived there all his life. Anyone know anything about this Jacob HERRMAN or his cousins above?

Recently I was doing some online research and discovered that at the hospital where one of my ancestors died (the Oregon State Metal Hospital) there are thousands of unclaimed family members sitting around in storage as cremated remains. I have obtained a list of the names on the marked urns and I am more than happy to find out if any of your family from the late 1800s to 1970 are on the list so you can go and claim them. Thersia Bullock, Cañon City, CO, died Oct. 18, 2004, at her home. She was born May 22, 1931, at Marienthal, Kan., to Martin Joseph and Basilia Esther (Herrman) Kessler.

She married Franklin Lemoy Bullock March 3, 1947, in Cañon City. They celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary earlier this year.

Earlier in her marriage, she lived in Garden City, Kan., Kellogg, Idaho, and Denver. She and her husband moved back to Cañon City in August of 1977, where they started an electrical business.

Mrs. Bullock was part owner of Skyline Electric of Cañon City and a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband; children, Jennie Lee Morrow, Floyd Lemoy Bullock, Joe Samuel Bullock, and Lovena Snow Richardson; grandchildren, Rick Morrow, Floyd Bullock, Lloyd Bullock, Thersia Payne, Colleen Davis, Jason Bullock, Jerry Bullock, Jolene Whitlock, Tracy Rat-kovich, Sarah Rat-kovich, Tyler Richardson, Tara Hanson; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers, Aloysious Kessler, Phillip Kessler, Martin Jr. Kessler, and Virgil Kessler; sisters, Helen Spurgeon, Bernadine Jones, and Joan Worthen; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Christine was born in Liebenthal, Kansas and was living with her parents in Rush County, Kansas in 1920. She married a man named Robert T. Van Fossen who was from Ohio and eventually moved back to Ohio with him. Any information on her marriage, her children, etc. would be most helpful.
