My great grandfather's sister, Katherine (Kate) Ullmann b. November 1858 married Charles Herrschaft in 1879. in Brooklyn, NY. In the 1900 US census they are living at 241 Lee Ave. Brooklyn, NY. Charles is listed as a Truckman. Their children at that time were: Charles b. Oct. 1881, Dorthea b. Sept. 1883, Edward b. Dec 21, 1886, Louise C. b. Oct. 13, 1888. I know nothing more about them. I know nothing about Charles Herrschaft's family. Katherine's father, Charles Anthony Ullmann immigrated from Germany between 1839 + 1840. Her mother was an immigrant from England.
