Here is what I mean:<br><br>It appears that Frances Heuston came over to the United States in 1865 and settled in West Hoboken with her parents and the rest of the family; she was only 12 years old, but was the eldest. Her father died on February 19, 1870; her brother William was born 4 days later on February 23, 1870 and died after 8 days on March 3, 1870. Her mother died the following year on July 27, 1871. Frances, at the age of 18, must have then had to take care of her two year old sister, Mary, who consequently died on November 16, 1871. Thus, in November 1871, the family consisted of Frances, age 18; John 16; Robert, 11; and Patrick, 5. Somehow she kept the family together and married John Nolan in 1875. They immigrated in 1865 to Hudson County with their children, who were born in Ireland: Frances (b 1853), John (b 1855), and Robert (b 1860). They had Patrick (b 1866), Mary (b 1869) and William (b. 1870). Mary and William died very young, and Phillip (d. 1870) and Fanny (d. 1871) also died early.<br><br>Phillip's father and mother were William and Jane.
