There are various message boards I think from Australia trying to find more information regarding the George Hibberds who ran a grocery/cheesemonger business in the City of London, 12 Maidenhead Court. George born 1811 came from Eton to start the business.
My maiden name is Elizabeth Hibberd and these Hibberds are my gr gr gr etc grandfathers. My grandfather was Charles (born 1869) who appears to have been the only son remaining in London. He had three sons - Percy was my father and he was a radar scientist. I have a public Hibberd tree to be viewed. It would be good to be in touch with Australian/South African relatives. Elizabeth
