Hickory Family in VT and Canada

Hi, I am looking for any info on the Hickory side of my family. My grandmother's name was Ruth Hazel Hickory (married George P. Fish)b 1895 in Proctorsville,VT to Francis Henry and Ella Etta (Coughlin) Hickory. Frank was b 1859 in Plattsburg,NY and his parents were Nelson Francis b. 1829 and Rebecca Minerva Parrott b.1840 both b in Canada. I do not know how or where they came from in Canada. I have a lot of info about family here but not before that if anyone has any ideas or info I would love to hear from you. Email bettecp@aol.com.

Hickory Ancestors

My 2nd gr.Grandmother was Elisabeth "Lizzie" Hickory born 1860 in or around Hardin Co., Ohio (I think). She married my gr.Grandfather Anton Kaiser/Kayser in 1876 in Kenton, Ohio and they had at least 6 children, Henry, George, Katherine, Mary, Helena, and Flora. Any info would be appreciated as I haven't a clue where to start on the Hickory side of my ancestors. The only thing I know is her father signed for her to get married and his name was John Hickory.
