I am trying to link Samuel DeForest Hide (b.Jan.1,1754, Huntington, Fairfield, CT) with Eliakim Hide (b. March 31, 1700, Greenfield, CT). Eliakim was married to Martha DeForest (b. Nov.24, 1726, Huntington, Fairfield, CT).The DeForest name seems to link them. I'd like to hear from anyone interested in this branch of the Hide family.
