Several descendants of Jesse and Mary (Molly) Hite (Hight) have been trying to link with parents of Jesse. Jesse was born abt 1810 acc. to census records. he was living in Ohio in 1850 with wife and children. He doesn't show on the 1860 census. between 1850 and 1860, one of his older sons, Thomas, married to Harriet,lived in Marshall Co.,Iowa where one of their daughters were born. Thomas appears on the 1860 census in Indiana. Jesse hasn't been located, perhaps he is deceased. Mary is widowed on the 1870 Indiana census, living near Thomas who is widowed with an infant. Thomas and his brothers William and Henry all live out their lives in the Kosciusko-Marshall county area.
