In preparation for a book I am writing, I am trying to sort out the Franklin County (and surrounding area) NC Hights. The Wallace book is muddying the waters, as I'm finding vast inconsistencies between his info and public records regarding Richard Hight and the Hartwell Hights. Does anyone out there have enough factual information about this branch of the family to provide some guidance?
