He was the son of Mary Highway. His wife, Elizabeth, died before him. He was in the Canadian Forestry Corps. He is buried in The Pas (Bid Eddy Indian Reserve) Cemetary, Manitoba, Canada. If anyone has info, please advise. I need to know if James is any relation to Pierre, or Joseph. Pierre is from The Pas, MB. Pierre & Sarah had one daughter and maybe another (Elizabeth Charlette?) as well as a son who died in infancy. The living daughter is Helen Marjorie LaVallee (nee Cholette/Highway) and she was born April 22, 1923, in Cormorant, MB. Sarah died from TB in 1928, in The Pas and is buried there. Pierre may be the son of Joseph Highway (b. 1862 in The Pas) and Josephte Marcellais (m. 1884). Joseph is the son of Pierre Highway and Sally Cook. All are from The Pas, MB.
