I am researching my family, who originated in early 18th century in Newton-le-Willows, with branches moving in the 19th century to Ashton-in-Makerfield, Atherton, Leigh, Hindley and Pendleton. If anyone has any relevant information, or would like to share in what I have already found, please respond.
