I'm sorry I don't have information about John and Lucy. I am hoping you might have some information about another Hildebrant living in the area in the 1850s. I believe Nathaniel Hildebrant came to Indiana in 1841 with his mother Rachel from Hamilton County, Ohio.
I am hoping that Rachel Hildebrant had a son named Daniel who was a blacksmith in Hamilton County. She is the only person of that surname I have been able to trace that was living near Daniel in the 1830's. She was listed in Nathaniel's household in 1850.
Any information you could give me will be helpful.
