My part of the Hilderman family was in Pennsylvania in the 1840s. My grandfather, Walter Carrington Hilderman was born in Baltimore, Md. in about 1883. We ended up in North Carolina by the early 1900s and I grew up in Charlotte. Do you have any of these connections? Walter C. Hilderman III.

Marie married George in Michigan in 1857. I don't know anything more about her family - parents names, siblings, whatever. I think she was born in Germany. Anybody out there discover her in your research? They were my gggrandparents.

Hi Lorraine
In my files, I have a notation that Daniel could be a brother of Georg (Adam) Fritzler who married Anna Elizabeth Hildermann bMay 4 1884. Their children were Katherina, Gottfried, David and Anna Fritzler. These fritzlers came to Canada but returned to Russia where they were deported to Siberia and never heard from again. Does any of this ring a bell?
Gary

Hi, Gary!

Seeing that they are from the same village, it is likely that they are related. How is the question. Do you have any more information about them?

My name is Matt Hilderman, currently residing in Salt Lake City, Utah and attending the University of Utah. I was wondering about our ancestory line and trying to date and link family relatives. My parents are Timothy L. Hilderman and Ina M. Hilderman (Damon) both residing in Fort Worth, Texas. I have one sister, Cherie R. Reese (Hilderman), residing in Tooele, Utah. My grandparents, Bob and LaVon Hilderman, live in Window Rock, Arizona. Bob Hilderman was a pastor for the Baptist Navajo Indian Reservation and is retired now. Any information would be helpful. Thank you.

It's very possible that Grandma spelled it with 2 m's. I only heard the name spoken never saw it written. As a matter of fact I really had to dredge up my memory to even remember the name! It's a shame that people don't pass this info down to their kids. Although my kids aren't that interested by the time they are there won't be anyone left to ask. Thanks for the reply, cousin. Hope to here from you again.
