Hi Jean! Did you ever find your Caspar Hildinger?
I rented the Family Register from Stuttgart for Weil im Dorf, and sure enough the whole family was listed including Thomas's parents and siblings. His name turned out to be Tobias Gottlob Hildinger. Since the families are listed alphabetcal it was a snap.
