I am descended from Seth Widner also. His daughter Maria was my g-g-grandmother. The 1900 US Census Monon (town), White County, Indiana, dated 7 June 1900 lists Mariah Widner, head, age 66, b. Jun 1833, bp OH, father b. OH, mother b. VA, Widowed, 9 births/6 living children; Leonard Widner, son, age 23, b. Apr 1877, bp IN, father b. OH, mother b. OH, day laborer. I have no exact date for Seth's death. He is in the 1880 Beaver Township, Pulaski County, Indiana Census with Mariah, and 9 children. Daughter Maria Widner married William Shelhart 12 Mar 1878 Pulaski County, Indiana. I have lots of information and am willing to share. My email is wjswart@netnitco.net.
